STU convocation ceremony will be held with 2021 event

Saskatoon Theological Union joint convocation postponed from May 8 will instead be held in conjunction with the 2021 event.

The Colleges of the Saskatoon Theological Union announce, with regret, that the 19th joint convocation of the STU, postponed from May 8, 2020, will now be held in conjunction with next year’s joint convocation in May 2021.

The convocation planning committee worked valiantly to find an alternative date, but in light of the continuing uncertainties about public gatherings, recommended instead that graduates for both academic years be honoured together. We are grateful to the committee for their work and their care for all of us.

We also want to recognize the achievements of this year’s graduates, and to assure them that they will officially receive the degrees for which they qualify, through the actions of the academic governing bodies of each of the Colleges at the end of this term. We invite our STU community to join us in extending congratulations to them, and in praying for a fulfilling future of service and leadership.
